Let's Explore the Area of Bradenton

Bradenton is located between Tampa and Sarasota. The city has a population of about 59,000, making it the 48th largest city in the State of Florida.  Bradenton is surrounded by water, both fresh and salt and is the access point for more than 20 miles of beautiful Southwest Florida beaches on the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. Bradenton is located on the mainland and is separated from the outer barrier island beaches by the Intracoastal Waterway.  These island beaches include Holmes Beach, Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, and Bradenton Beach.

Bradenton’s downtown is a wonderful place to explore.  There are restaurants and shops and not to mention historic buildings.  It’s not a huge area, so it is easy to walk around and explore.  There is also a marina downtown and there are a ton of fun water activities available.

Another area worth a visit is the Village of the Arts.  This is a neighborhood where residents to live and work in their homes. There are also some pretty cool art galleries here.
